Vendor lock-in

Vendor lock-in (or customer lockout) means that the customer can not change the supplier and therefore is locked in the service and products of the current supplier. Getting out of a vendor lock-in is usually a very expensive business, sometimes it is necessary to drop off and overwrite the entire SW. In Ackee, it is very important for us not to cause the vendor lock-in.
