The server application or backend is the part of the application that is hidden from the users eyes and takes care of data processing, logic and interaction with the database. It is the "engine" of the application that makes sure everything works properly without us seeing it. At Ackee, we build small and complex systems for mobile and web clients in Node.js and other backend technologies.
